While some may think that collaborative robots are used as personal assistants (think Rosie from The Jetsons), most collaborative robots on the market today are used in manufacturing settings to work alongside humans on the factory floor. According to Boston Consulting Group (BCG), 90 percent of manufacturing tasks still cannot be easily automated.
