Endpoints — specifically, devices that are enabled by Wi-Fi connections to share data across an industrial environment — are frequently targets of compromise or attacks. These devices can include mobile devices and laptop computers, as well as sensors, gauges and other elements used in industrial environments that physically control a process with a cyber-connection.
It can take just minutes, if not seconds, to compromise endpoints and put industrial environments at risk. One recent study found that 30% of security breaches involved malware that was installed on endpoints. Operational Technology (OT) endpoints are particularly vulnerable, given that legacy technology powers environments like our manufacturing plants, power stations, and other critical infrastructure. Many organizations rely on an air gap for cybersecurity to protect their industrial environments. Unfortunately, the air gap is a double-edged sword. While it may help insulate and shrink the attack surface, like all prevention measures, it does not provide 100% protection.
During this webinar we will explore the following:
- How to stop breaches and prevent data loss and ransomware damage with no dwell time
- How to eliminate alert fatigue and optimize operations with customizable, standardized incident-response processes
- How to ensure business continuity in the event of a security incident, keeping systems online
- And, how to reduce the cost of legacy Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions enabling response and remediation without negatively impacting business
